Fenland Equestrian Centre is located midway between the villages of Elm and Fridaybridge and the town of Wisbech in North Cambridgeshire.
The centre began modestly in 2001 when Steven and Amanda Pinder moved to the area from Yorkshire with their Racehorse 'Efaad' only to find that there was no suitable stabling in the area.
Following a successful bid, Olympic Legacy funding was obtained from Sports England to assist in the building of further facilities.
The centre now covers 20 acres and includes fenced arenas including an all weather arena, floodlit to Olympic standard, stabling for 34 horses, and a cafe.
As a genuine community facility the centre is open for equestrian and non-equestrian events such as football and dog training.
