Tucked away on the outskirts of March is a unique riding centre - a centre of excellence for Western riding. Sovereign Quarter Horses has been in existence for over 40 years and has established itself as a significant centre for Western riders UK wide and abroad.
Sovereign were one of the first licensed riding schools for teaching Western riding and they cater for all levels. Riders can use one of the highly trained school horses or bring their own horse. The lessons are in a purpose built indoor arena and managers David and Sarah share the teaching between them.
Sovereign hosts some of the biggest Western Shows in the UK and a number of other open days and training days. They welcome spectators free of charge - well worth going along. There is also a competitively priced cafe serving hot food.
The international-sized arena is also much sought after and has become the home of Wisbech Riding Club where many March and district horse riders will be found enjoying themselves.
